If somehow we get KD, or even if we don't, what's next? We got so many young potential and desirable draft picks, do we try to cash them? I say yes, especially if we get KD.

Would Chicago bite on something like this package for JB?

Amir, Kelly, Terry, Young, Brown plus BKN 17 or 18 (just one).

I know those are two probably very high lottery picks, with No. 3 pick in Jaylen Brown, lastyears No.16 Mr. Rozier who could develope into good player and Kelly, a versatile big with three point range... but if you have a chance to contend for a title, I'm sure DA will pull something like this. It doesn't necessariliy have to be Butler, but you get my point...

Id like to see the Cs prioritize scoring. Sign a 1 & 1 contract with the best available scorer.

If they get KD, they might try to sign Perkins to a vet min. He's close to Durant, and Ainge drafted him originally out of HS. The Celtics spent years developing him, then let him go in free agency, which many think was a mistake. His knee injury cost them a title vs the Heat.

If they don't get KD, they should try to get Gasol, who is holding up his decision until after KD. He is the only UFA left after KD. Perfect fit for them in the middle with Horford at the 4. 20/10 guy with still a couple good years left. Great player.

With KD, they are a 60-65 win team. With Gasol, they are 55-60 win team.

You mean vs. the Lakers in 2010? Aha, you think OKC vs MIA. OK.

Agree on Pau, but only ona a short term two year deal.

Love Perk. But that'd be a complete and utter waste of a roster spot. That said, if the Ca actually signed Durant, they'd almost certainly trade some young guys and picks for one more veteran, in which case having Perk on the end of the bench waiving a towel could make some sense (if KD wants it).

We really don't. We'd sacrifice depth that we need for a guy who won't get the same volume of offense he is used to. With Horford, Durant and IT there are enough options on offense. Keep the defenders and the future assets.

If we get Durant we need to target a legit Center with the room exception. Maybe 2 is Zizic doesn't come this year. Then we'd be 2 deep at every position with superstars

Zizic isnt even playing SL. Expect zero from him this season.

Jamal Crawford would be a nice option off the bench if we end up landing KD.

Much too much to give up.....that's more than we gave up for KG

Wait it out....those picks are too valuable

Danny put us in a spot (As he said he would) to Contend for the next 9, 10 - 15 years..  It would be foolish to shorten his own window..

Cleveland just won a chip with 1 Super Stud, one great player and dang on Tristan Thompson..  When Lebron is finished (2 to 3 more years) They will be back to that old Cleveland team tanking for high draft picks.. They have no immediate future after Bron..

IF we get Durant we still have a future in Brown, and possibly 2 other picks from this years crop) and what if next years pick nets us the next Anthony Davis...  And the next pick after that the next Larry Bird.

The future is super bright with Boston right now .. No reason to sacrifice that when we have more than enough talent to Get it done (IF Durant is truly that guy)

good points. also add into a healthy olly, bradley, and crowder this team's three point shooting improves significantly. the trade suggested above is, to me, a gross over pay. the nets picks are really gold, not just for the talent, but also for the salary space rookie contracts provide.

I don't think Ainge trades any of the guys (IT, Jae, Smart, KO) who attended the meeting with him.
