KO really could be the perfect Robert Horry guy on this team if he ever lives up to his nickname. He is too nice right now and lackadasical.   He's the type of guy to come off the bench and hit some big shots as a compliment to Durant though. 

Teams pay attention to Durant though and leave KO alone he can really be that knockout punch. He has those shots whether as a finisher or as a shooter.

They needed another white athlete to contrast with Tom Brady's awesomeness.

It's like a foil character in literature: the polar opposite makes the other's positive characteristics shine even more.

It's like Thomas, Smart, and Crowder.

Very Smart to bring KO to a meeting with a man who values Team and Family..  It shows that every member on the Roster is important. Shows that Everybody is needed to get the job done..  This is something that I imagine appeals to KD..
