Love this quote from KD from 2010:

Joining Golden State would be 10x more anti-competitive than what LeBron did in 2010.  I'll lose all respect for KD if he does that.

Haha someone posted that earlier and you just know he'd get eaten alive by this hypocrisy if he did that lol

Seriously, every C's fan should retweet this to KD or some media blowhard.  They'll run with this!!

Seriously, every single person on here with Twitter should tweet this at KD!

I did too!

TP to everyone who retweets this to Durant!

Should really tweet it to someone in the media instead, KD ain't looking at Twitter right now

I've seen some reports he's going to wait until tomorrow (and ruin everyone's Holiday in the process)... but 8:30pm Eastern sure would be a nice time to post on Player's Tribune.  Gives us time to freak out for a couple hours, get drunk, and sleep it off.

This place is going to be very depressing tomorrow when Durant chooses OKC. Talk about doom and gloom..

It shouldn't be.

Just remember how far we've come. Two years ago we were tanking for a top pick. We made big risky moves to help our future.

Two years ago, heck, two weeks ago, we would've never dreamed of being in this position. We just signed a 4 time all star to a deal, we've built a 50+ win team with one of the youngest rosters and put ourselves in the final 3 for Durant.

Even if he doesn't sign here, we've done a fantastic job this summer. Hats off to Ainge.

Pretty much my feeling. Well said.

Aldridge said the decision is coming tomorrow.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

No doubt, but the whole question about the nontank rebuild was how do you get the superstar required to win. Now next year we may have another top 5 pick in the Nets pick and we will be a major FA destination,  but superstar opportunities are very rare so it will be really disheartening to get close to one and miss it.

Let the Fireworks commence tomorrow! Sounds like he has decided to leave OKC since he is not announcing tonight but wants one night to sleep on it..unless its contingent on a team needing to set up trades to free up space

My hope is he chose Boston and wants one more night to let it sit with him. Here is hoping he dreams of a sea of green

Even if he does not choose us, we will have 2017 to find a superstar free agent or if Durant does leave for somewhere else, that would mean that OKC will be struggling this year and Westbrook might be available for a trade in February of 2017 or they risk losing him for nothing although topping a Lakers trade package might be tough but doable nonetheless. Maybe by February of 2017, Cousins will be stirring up a storm in Sacramento and demanding to be traded as well...opportunities will be plentiful going into the next year...

All in all, Danny did an amazing job and we could not have asked for anything more from our GM. Hats off to him for getting Horford here and actually being considered by Durant.

Royce is an OKC guy.

Honestly, they said horford was going back to Atlanta yesterday. Until he didn't. I'll keep waiting. But it is looking a little less likely now.

If KD goes to the Warriors, idk how I'd feel. I think I'd hate him for it. Does he not care for legacy? Smh

Royce Young is a Thunder guy isn't he? He was bashing the Celtics yesterday for bringing Tom Brady, so I'm guessing he's not that objective.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.
