If we lived in Oakland wouldnt we be saying that Boston makes no sense?  We'd be saying that  the C's are still 2 players away and theyd have to get past The King.  GSW would become an immediate dynasty....  My heart is pleading for KD to love the Celtics  and want to build his legacy here. My brain says if the goal is championships, then it's GSW.

I would be just shocked if Durant went to the Warriors. There are many reasons why I think he won't, but above all, it comes down to business. The NBA is a business, as the cliche goes. Nike is paying Durant more money than any of these franchises. How will they feel if he becomes the Robin to Under Armour's Batman?

And if he's announcing it on the Player's Tribune, what is he going to say? lol

"Uh, well, I couldn't do it on my own, and since the Splash Bros and Green and the best regular teams ever couldn't do it either, I figured better team up with them to take down the big, bad monster that is Lebron!"

Yeah, I seriously, seriously can not just see him doing this. He is too smart, too proud (in a good way), and too business-savvy to do something like this. He could very well return to OKC, since most free agents stay with their current teams; however, changing teams to share shots and be a second or even third fiddle to a two-time reigning MVP on a team that just completed the greatest regular season of all time with three All-Stars is just asinine, all things considered.

Sometimes we misread players. I didn't think he would either. There must be some fire due to all the smoke we heard in the regular season about the Warriors. Of course Kennedy could be wrong, but it really seems like the choice is between Warriors and OKC.

he's a **** if he goes to the warriors.

Yep. He's far worse than Lebron if he does that.

Idk man. If I was a Warriors fan, I would be ticked we lost to Cleveland and would want to play them again with the same roster. But that's me personally. Some people aren't competitive that way.

Sounds like it really is down to us, OKC, and GSW. Oh, how far we've come! Two years ago we were picking sixth in the draft, and today we have Al Horford and Isaiah Thomas and we're waiting on word from Kevin Durant. KEVIN DURANT!!! Ultimately, we may not get him, but I'm okay with that, because look how far we've come. C's Up!!!
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Wow this really is Deja Vu with LBJ's decision.

I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

No. This is an entire different monster than event he Miami Big 3. Lebron orchestrated them to team up TOGETHER - he didn't just join the literal best regular season team in history.

I think even Warriors fans can admit to themselves that it will hurt KD's legacy to go there. Legitimately the last two MVP's would be teaming up together to try and take down the former MVP Lebron. If that doesn't speak volumes, then I don't know what does.

Speaking of that, have two recent MVP winners ever teamed up like this before? Durant just won it in 2014, and Steph has won it the last two years. So this is the narrative - the two most recent MVPs are teaming up because they can't win the ring on their own (without the help of Cleveland injuries).
