After Woj's debacle, I think he's going to limit his tweets today to simply announcing agreements.

Yeah, that was a total debacle by Woj.  He pretty much tweeted that Atlanta and Horford had come together on an agreement at the exact time Horford was calling the Celtics to say yes.  I don't know who his "source" was, but that was some serious egg on his face.

I was fortunate enough to open Cblog to see that Horford was coming to the C's without seeing a Horford to Atlanta rumor.   Was there a moment that Cblog Naton thought he was lost to Atlanta (because of he Woj tweet)?   How long did the disappointment last till the truth came out?

About 30 minutes.

Actually I think the time stamps were like 5 min apart.  It just felt like longer.

What are the graphics on her tweet? They're not rendering for me.

Atlanta fans. Nothing to do with KD. She's had a few tweets if you look at her feed for 2 seconds.

A thunder guy (Anthony Slater) says this:

OKC's hope was 2nd mtng just about $$. Could be. But longer this goes, angst builds. Signals he's wrestling with it https://t.co/xnWyunJT19

What's it mean about money? He's obviously getting the max wherever he goes. Are they just trying to hammer home the financial aspect of it with him making more money there than other places?

Ouch. If they're resorting to that to keep him when he has consistently said money isn't everything and this is purely a basketball decision, they must feel like they are on their heels.

Money was the only thing not discussed in the first meeting, so it makes sense that's what the second meeting is about.  I'm sure they are presenting contract options to him, e.g.  Five year versus 1+1, etc.

I will bet it went like Saltlover said (his quote below) :

Riley:  Kevin, we'd like to offer you a max deal.
KD: Sounds good.  Do you have the cap space?
Riley: Um, no.
KD: Oh... uh.  Well, if I took a little less, D-Wade will be there, right?
Riley: Probably not.
KD: Oh.. But I see Bosh on all those commercials with Arnold Palmer, that racer, and the SNL guy.  He'll be back next year right?
Riley: *shrug*... So we've got these great beaches and night clubs, and no state income tax!

This is such a torture. I am at 21.30 PM, european time and really hope just Durant releases my nerves and decide in the next 2.5h, otherwise i'll be f*cked up at work tomorrow, no way I can sleep with all this going on.... Had the same problem in the first couple of days of FA.

same here...but according to the news, seems the news might happen sometime tomorrow and not tonight :/

This is a huge decision. If he chooses the Warriors that ups the bar in terms of how good the Celtics have to get to be title contenders. OKC is a push. And obviously Boston is euphoria for us all. 3 very different scenarios.

Hearing Kevin Durant is strongly considering Warriors. He meets Thunder tonight, then he's likely to announce decision on @PlayersTribune.

I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

That would be awful for him, for us , and for the league! I'm ok with him staying in OKC , but chasing the Warriors would be a disaster.

I think it's overblown, he just said Atlanta was upping their offer and Boston and Washington were rapidly losing hope about signing Horford.  Given that Horford was talking to the Hawks and they had the ability to outbid either team, it makes sense that they'd be feeling pretty hopeless at that moment.

Just turns out Horford was giving them one last chance to meet his number and when they wouldn't it was a very short call.

if lebron got slack for going to the heat to chase rings, imagine what kd will get if he decides to be 3rd fiddle on a team that just one 73 games.

cant see it happening though.
