I don't follow realGM too much. Is that smitty guy legit?
No idea but it seems like everybody in there trusts him. Supposedly he is at the Orlando Summer League game right now.

I can't handle the suspense! Ugh.., how to pass rest of day without getting carpal tunnel from hitting refresh a million times. I would love to see how many page views this site has today. And no matter what happens, those views will soar when announcement is made.

My wife who is soon to be ex wife hardly speaks to me and said Durant will choose Celtics and she could care less about basketball. Not sure if I should take that as a blessing or a curse prediction
I got stuff like that too. People I know that barely understand basketball been asking if C's signed KD yet. Like its a done deal already.

To me , Durant saying he is announcing his decision on the players tribune means he is leaving OKC.

I mean he is not going to sign up long term deal with OKC because of the Westbrook option of leaving next year.

Is he really going to write an article that says he is going back to okc on a 1+1 deal?

That makes no sense to me. It is reported wherever he goes he is going to be there long term because he doesn't want to go through fa Again next year.

Oh by the way thunderstruck just came on HBO family lol

That is a good point. The only reason I could see him writing in the PT is if he signs there long-term. Otherwise, that seems to be an avenue for him changing teams and a way for him to try and quell any "hate" towards him by explaining his decision.

Huh.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

Kevin Durant’s final meeting—a second one with OKC officials—has ended. Now, we all wait.

No Westbrook at the meeting means he's leaving.  The only delay in the announcement is his Player's Tribune ghostwriter trying to make KD look as good as possible for leaving OKC, without sounding like he's copying Tito Horford, according to my source.

Unless Westbrook has known Durant's intentions all along, and knows Durant will elect to stay with OKC for at least 1 more year, at which time they'll leave if they don't win a championship this year.

I still think KD does a 1+1 with OKC.  Probably just my way of not setting myself up for disappointment.  Boy would I love to be wrong and see KD in green instead.

Salt, a zillion pages here, is this your form of positive thinking or do you actually have a source?
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Nope.  I've seen enough of my 5-day old crapping her pants to know that I need to hold my bowels.

I've got as good a source as Tim Kawakami out of CSN Bay Area.

I'm trying to practice web journalism.  Say something definitive that you have a small modicum of information about.  If you're right, great.  You're IN THE KNOW!  If you're wrong, start to walk it back.

This made me laugh for some reason.  Horrible and sorry but yeah. Chicks man.

Lol, I think she said it to get my hopes up while at same time she is hoping he goes to the Bay Area to join Curry.

By the way, I lived on the Bay Area in Sonoma County for 7 years and as far as lifestyle goes, there was no other place in the USA where I have lived that compared and I did live in the North East for the majority of my first 30 years.

If Durant wants to cement his legacy and become Legend and be surrounded by fans that are like nobody else in the world...Boston is the choice...

If Durant wants easier road to finals and rings, and the Bay Area lifestyle sings to his heart more than his legacy, than GS is the easy choice. GS will never be Durants' team though and Boston would be his team and town....

In the end..it really comes down to what means most to him. Here is hoping becoming a Legend in Boston sings to his heart more than anything.

Okay, now I'm legitimately confused. Are you being serious now or just BS' ing? lol

If Westbrook wasn't at the meeting, I feel like that's a pretty, pretty, pretty good sign in our favor.
