We have the best coach and draft picks in the future and a ton of money.
Danny gets it done.

He went there and didn't get **** done! He left the meeting without getting a commitment, that tells me he's not coming here. Without Durant I'm fine with him not coming here. He's very over rated and not worth that kind of money. Honestly I'd rather have Zaza for $15 million a year!

The meeting went well. Horford probably called KD last night or this mourning to tell him what he thought about Boston. And to see were KD could lean. I don't blame Horford for not signing with out KD. I could see them both agreeing at the same time.

Probably wont happen, but just because he left with out signing doesn't mean he's completely out of the picture.

Then why did Horford meet with Washington also - who KD is NOT meeting with?

He needs to know his options if KD chooses to go to a team that can not offer him a max.  (GS)

Don't forget the Billy Donovan factor. He was Horfords couch at Florida. I looks like  they are our only competition.

OKC is probably the first choice for both of them. I just don't know if OKC can make it happen in time though. Horford won't want to wait around for long.

Boston does have the ability to commit to both right away. There is hope that things could somehow tilt and gain momentum in an unexpected direction. Let's hope...

Because everyone wants to live in Oklahoma City?

I don't think it has to do as much with living in OKC as it does with that fact that OKC was so close to making the Finals this year. The team is already assembled. The downside to OKC for Horford is you don't know if Westbrook and/or Durant is leaving in a year.

Boston is a fine choice for Horford and I think that's where he'll end up. I just think the reason he isn't committed already is because he's giving OKC a shot at working something out (unlikely imo).

If Danny doesn't get it done this whole offseason was an absolute failure.

Oh no. If we just sit pat that will be fine. Stay the course, which will magically result in championships.

It seems more like a guy who wants to sleep on his decision, a decision that will impact his life and his family's life for the next few years.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

We need to protect our draft picks from being taken due to tampering charges!!

Who cares about the coach? There are tons of good coaches. I really don't think this plays into the decision barely at all. Lue just won a title because of players. It's all about the players.

That's true because Lue is not a good coach. He is just a figurehead.

Better standing pat if no KD . It would be better being back in the lottery.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
I will get worried if we hear that OKC is trying to move Kanter.
Kanter is being Shopped.

Hopefully We can still pull it off for them both.

Lue Coached them to the Title. He motivated Lebron IMO.

But we're going back to the lottery anyway
