If We Miraculously Sign Horford+Durant... Who Is Our Center?

Mickey will get more minutes but definitely off the bench.

We won't have any cap space left and Tyler Zeller, Jared Sullinger and Amir Johnson would likely leave as well.

Is there a cheap center available using the exceptions we have?

Horford will be the center. Stevens will play smaller unit with Horford at 5 and will use diffrent guys at 4 who can spread the floor

I got the feeling Horford wanted to be utilized as a PF more, and it made sense that he would fit as a "Stretch 4" guy in Stevens' system.

If you desperately want a great center we could package Crowder and Picks and probably get a good one.

I think we'd just sign a veteran minimum type of player. If Durant comes here I wouldnt be surprised if Perk comes back on a vet min contract

Isn't that why they just amended the pickup date of he and JJ's contracts?

That way, we can use existing cap space for Al and KD, then go over the cap to pickup Amir's team option. 

that's my understanding of it at least.

Horford would be our center unless we somehow also signed Howard (which would require moving some of our players). Either Olynyk or Jerebko would be the 4 or Durant would be the official 4 with Crowder starting at 3.

Whether he plays PF or C I think he should be paired with a good rebounding big (ugh maybe Sully I guess) cause Horford at this point in his career is not a good rebounding big.   I think Durant should be limited playing a small ball 4 (I don't think he played much there in OKC with Ibaka, Kanter, and Adams in the rotation).  Give that dirty work to Crowder when we play that way.
