If you can add any two to our current roster what do you want?

I want the rim protector and rebounding X2 for depth.

I didn't include superstar or talent upgrade because that is obvious and already under discussion. I'm talking about rotation level players or even starters.

We need:
1. A SF who can really shoot. Ideally, a guy with some flexibility to play PF in small ball lineups.
2. If we lose Sully, then we need a starting center.

Big man. Big man. Big Man. Big man. Big Man.

Desperately need an above average starting caliber big.

Nothing else comes close.

I went for big man with rebounding. If we get Durant then great, the rest sorts itself. If we don't we should target a guy like Pau Gasol and give him a big 1+1 contract like we did Amir, then invest in a stretch 4 like Dudley for a reasonable price, again on a 1+1.

Helps us this year without infringing on the opportunities for the young guys too much and alsokeeps cap space for next year

We need a center who can defend the pick and roll, and protect the rim. Teams had extreme difficulty scoring on us out on the perimeter, and our weakness was the hole in the paint. We need to rebound better also.

3pt shooting is also an area of need. I kind of like the idea of brining in Dudley to play on the bench, but with decent minutes. He brings a shooting touch that we need pretty badly.

Yeah I should have put 'go to' scorer with 3pt shooter. How do I add that?

OK got it. Thanks for catching that.

Where does Jaylen Brown fit if Dudley is brought in?

A solid center.  Not Amir, or olynyk and not Dwight Howard.  Give zizic some playing time alongside zeller and Amir.  And a better stretch 4.  Fred flintstone would be a nice fit here but again we'll see the same crap

Yeah, at least one competent big is an absolute necessity this offseason. Luckily, there are two of them very interested in us.

Shooting and a go-to scorer are next. Horford would help in the shooting department.

Some guys will help in multiple departments like Horford.

He is a bonus.  :)

No 1 is a big to plug up the middle. A Howard or a Horford. Whitesides is gone--back to Miami for the max.

Howard and Horford are going to get max money. They should max Horford right away, which will probably keep him from OKC. Signing either of these two guys will attract other FAs.

After they get their big, they need a shooter. Anderson would fit in the likely event they don't get Durant.

I believe they must have a big to have any chance of getting Durant.

Dudley is pretty much a 4 now. I think he'd be much like Jerebko but without the athleticism

Agreed on that even though I always liked Dudley, Jerebko is the better player right now.
