I don't usually pay much attention to these things if it isn't Celts related, can anyone tell me if this is close to being the most players changing teams without being traded? It seems like it is a heck of a lot doing it. This isn't just old guys who drift yearly either. I can imagine next year being a flood too.
I think its because everyone has cap. Its pretty much tripled the Market for FAs

Not sure about the numbers, but many players had purposefully planned to hit free agency this summer for better $$$

Ben Simmons is going to make truly ridiculous amount of money from playing basketball. I think I have to quit.

Not sure, I'm guessing they'll play them together a lot as Harden's basically the PG on offense anyway.

4 years, $53 million.  Pretty reasonable all things considered.

Lakers signing solid veteran pieces to put around their young core.

They were widely ridiculed for signing Mozgov.  It got a D+ grade

Right now,  it looks lie  we are the guy who tries to ask the rocket hot girl to the dance, flames out, and has to go alone.

What, exactly, is a 'rocket hot girl'?  Is this an incredibly attractive member of the fairer sex who works at Johnny Rockets, lol? ;D

Didn't Gordon just spend like 3 years in the same spot with Tyreke Evans? He's become an expensive backup. But he used to be considered a star.

Hopefully Jaylen Brown makes more.

Vertical Sources: Free agent Wesley Johnson has agreed to a three-year, $18 million deal to re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.

This pretty much means that the Clippers are out of the Durant hunt if there was any doubt before.

But Durant was "blown away" by their pitch of dumping every single non-max contract on their roster to give him a non-max deal?!

Yeah.  He was.  "Really?? That's your plan? Well I'm just blown away speechless!"
