Free agent Cameron Bairstow has reportedly signed with the Brisbane Bullets in Australia.

Thanks for giving the ex New Mexico Lobo Cameron Bairstow the last bit mention he'll ever get on an NBA chat site. ;-)  He sure was a pleasure to watch in college.

The Bucks and Miles Plumlee have reportedly agreed to a four-year, $52 million deal.

The Thunder will reportedly sign 2013 draft pick Alex Abrines (Barcelona) this summer; Abrines (22 yo) was the winner of the Euroleague Rising Star Award for 2016.

$13 million a year for Miles Plumlee? Wow, he played less than 15mpg for them last year, and it's not like he spaces the floor, either.  That's a real head-scratcher (unless they get rid of Monroe)

They still have Henson. Eventually Kidd is going to figure out that their best lineup includes GiAnt as a Point Center. What does he do with Henson and Plumlee then?

I think I now know why Tyler Zeller was kept over Jared Sullinger.

They also took Thon Maker at #10 and he looked great in summer league. You'd think they plan on giving him at least some minutes as well.

do tell...

Because Miles Plumlee, who's a virtual clone of Typer Zeller, gets $50+ million, while Sullinger can only get $6 million.  I'd bet Zeller has more value around the league.

so you kinda think that Zeller is waiting to be signed to a lucrative contract and then traded to make salaries work?

Not really.  That could happen.  I just think Danny wanted to keep the one that is more valuable around the league, and I think the respective contracts given to Miles Plumlee and Jared Sullinger show Zeller's value.

The amount of money that was just spent on a fringe NBA player is just mind-boggling.

I will cry if Ainge offers Zeller the same kind of money that Plumlee just got...

Ainge doesn't need to offer Zeller anything. They call it restricted free agency for a reason.

Actually, Ainge needed to offer him a 1-year deal for $3,695,168.  Otherwise he would be experience unrestricted free agency.

Yeah, I misspoke. He did extend the QO. Luckily, that's about $48 million removed from what Plumlee got.

I just realized that this is Miles, not Mason, Plumlee getting $13 mil-year.  Holy hell, I swear the way this summer is looking someone is gonna offer Hasheem Thabeet $5 mil-year  ::)

Dion Waiters has had his qualifying offer rescinded.  He's now an unrestricted free agent.  Thunder retained Bird rights, but wanted to maintain flexibility to extend Westbrook if given the chance.

In less exciting news, Mike Miller re-signed with Denver for two years, $5 million.
