Anyone else loving this pick?
Yabusele looks really, really solid.
He can defend switches, attack closeouts and hit the 3, and has the strength of a gorilla and NBA length at 7'1" with 8'11" standing reach and great agility guarding the perimeter.
He is our version of Draymond Green IMO.

Read the euro stash comments but I can see him coming in andaying immediately off the bench, especially if Sully/Zeller walk.

Heck yeah. Love the shot, right off the bat. Tough bulldog who will put in the work. Only 20

C'mon you're honestly not the tiniest bit excited about this guy? You don't see the Tools. Strong enough to guard 5's Quick enough to move his feet with 4 and possibly 3's?  We Did not have that on the Roster at all..

For what it's worth I don't think it's a forgone conclusion that he's not on the roster this season.

- He's on a pretty ****ty team in France that probably isn't that conducive to development
- He has a buyout.
- He's US sophomore-aged, so it's not as if he's so young that playing in the NBA would be actively harmful to his growth (Zizic is a year younger)
- He plays a position where minutes will be available (assuming Sullinger/Zeller walk)
- He has an elite skill that we're desperately in need of (spot-up shooting)
- You generally don't use the #16 pick on players you don't plan on seeing for years.

Great words from a great man

Absolutely not excited. He has weight issues. Just when we escape Sully Danny does it again. Undersized, overweight, PF that wants to shoot 3s.

Cant say the guy has Weight Issues, Brotha is just big boned..  Sure he doesn't have the Traditional "Look" of an NBA body but that explosion is something that you NEVER saw out of   Sully Or Big Baby.. EVER..   That's more like Mini ShaQ (who was BIG but never had a "Weight" Issue..)
And his 3ball % is Super enticing, match that with his First step and you have something unique and Special for a man of that size..  You can totally understand why Danny grabbed this guy with his 2nd pick..

Read up on him. He has weight issues. And its FIBA 3s right not exactly the same as NBA.

Hey, at least this overweight tub won't cost us as much as the other overweight tub (Okafor) would have.

He and Brown are going to change the dynamic of our team.  Much more up tempo energy guys who can really finish.  Zizic can really run the floor and finish too for a center.  Jackson is also like that and very athletic.  Bentil is too.

Is "overweight" a bad thing with his athleticism and a 6% body fat..?

this guy may turn out to be the steal of this draft. Problem is he would have been a bigger steal at 23 or 33.

From that write up about him it will be amazing to see what he does with NBA training and nutrition. Please don't stash him. He needs the training and coaching from CBS. And he needs to play in the NBA.

THIS GUY is built more like Charles Barkley coming out of Auburn than Sully coming out of Ohio State.

I wouldn't call him Sully at all. We can just call him 'mon ami'. lol
