What did philly offer us noel, covington(who is a worse version of crowder) plus 2 late firsts when we already had 8 picks.

Okafor and Noel have much bigger questions than Jaylen brown as a player and person.

Let minny haggle over Butler.  We can still go after him but Brown might be a better player.

Milwaulkee was offering us crap too.  Chicago wanted way too much for Butler as well.
No. Just no.

Judging by what I saw in the draft thread and what I heard on Boston sports talk radio on the way back from work, I'm really not sure how much there is to insult...

We have money to spend in free agency and some good new players.
But Celtic fans are always whining.
I remember last fall when people here were saying that we were a lottery team.
LOL

Brown was the best player on the board.  It's no different than Smart.  People thought we were getting so and so.  I think i said all these things that year too.  Ainge offered like 4 picks for winslow.  Teams are ridiculous. So are fans.

Ainge looked at our roster.  Turner, Sully, Zeller need competition.  He improved those spots. Then just took the bpa in the 2nd round as well.

Brown is going to contribute this year too. HE is the most physically and mentally ready player in the draft.  Listening to some of these other kids Brown has his crap together.

We need a small forward.  Crowder is ok but not the future there.

Celtics fans are the most intelligent in the league. They come from the most educated region in America and it's not close.  They also know this thing called Do you Job and know when someone's not doing it. An entire generation has grown up watching a sports dynasty run by a genius and are getting pretty good at knowing BS when they hear it. Wyc tried to BS his fans tonight, after promising fireworks two years ago. Picked the wrong fan base.

Not many fans try to see what the celtics try to do.  I listen to the internet too much when it's a bunch of rumors how the media thinks we are supposed to build and they run with scissors.  I know this for a fact.  People aren't as nice as they think they are.

It's not complicated what they were supposed to do. Get someone impactful. Now. This year. DIdn't happen.

Fans booing the celtics picks. Yeah that's not insulting or anything for the team you are a fan of.

There's no lack of respect or insulting anyone's intelligence there.

He's learning a lesson about trying to put one over on New England fans.

You're funny. Sometimes I wish Wyc and company were more like Belichick and less like themselves.

It's simple recognition that they didn't do their job after shooting their mouths off and guaranteeing fireworks years ago

Maybe you are seeing it wrong? I wanted jaylen brown. I don't know.  I'm pretty happy.  Made sense to me not shortchanging ourselves in trades and taking the bpa.  This draft had some good players.

The reason Belichick gets to do that is that he does his job. He wins. He has earned the right to do that. The Celtics have not.
