Who got traded worth the third pick?

Stop with the logic you're ruining the fun.  Lets go back to twitter rumors.

You do realize that his question is just barely relevant, and clearly not conclusive with regards to how things went down, right?

What do you know about how anything went down?  Again, it's all based on twitter rumors that have been completely conflicting both ways.  The certainty with which you guys try to talk about stuff you know nothing about is almost admirable.  I wish I had the confidence.
The trades that happened tonight aren't twitter rumors. They are real actual trades that really happened. Some teams did very well tonight. The Celtics aren't one of them.

Aren't you the one who just said Thad Young and Teague wouldn't have put us over?  You aren't making any sense.
I didn't say it would or wouldn't. They were good trades. Some teams made them tonight. The Celtics didn't. Then they cried about it.

So completely different teams in completely different situations with different rosters got players that wouldn't have really made us much better?  Okay.  Yeah that's really an argument.
So what is your argument? Do you actually have one? Is your argument that the Celts did really great tonight?

Here. I'll put words in your mouth.  So you say the Celts did great tonight and got the best guy at the 3 spot and he's going to make a big difference. Wow. Yeah ok. Great argument.

So you say Jaylen Brown is going to put us over the top? Wow. Interesting argument.

LOL wow.

I'm saying there were no good trades there.  None of the trades that got done would have been good for the Celtics and you guys love to put stock in twitter rumors that I can easily find sources that say the opposite.  It's all BS.  You guys all sound like spoiled Lakers fans or something.  The team is rebuilding.  We won 48 games and we drafted the best players we could at the positions and avoided making bad trades.

Again, the certainty with which you guys speak about things you don't know about is pretty crazy.
Thadeus Young at 16 wouldn't help us. There we no good trades there. Thaddeus went for 20 but we were never offered him. These are very interesting theories.

This thread is an absolute joke...I am ashamed that some of you are fellow C' s fans..

You would rather see Danny make a bad trade just for the sake of it, than not.

You have zero idea what he was offered for the pick, so quit pretending you do.

The Celtics are still in a great place.

No, we actually do know what Philly offered, and we should have taken it. Now we have just another grit and hustle guy that can't shoot at one of our strongest positions at the wing, who may or may not end up decent. At least we know that Noel has DPOY-type potential. Brown could end up Derrick Williams 2.0.

Ainge pulled off one of the biggest trades of all time to get KG and I guess that made you guys think that it was easy and commonplace?  I don't know how else to explain it.

I am glad someone here isn't nuts.

Lol and Noel could flame out and Brown could be a 20pt. scorer...

SF is one of our strongest positions? That is simply a lie.

Your logic is lacking. But hey, if you want to sit there and think you are smarter than Danny, feel free.

Which NBA team do you currently work for?

Do people actually listen to owners when they say stuff like that? It's literally meaningless

If you get your hopes up based on what an OWNER says, you probably deserve to be let down.  He's just trying to sell tickets

If you're trying to sell stuff the stuff you say has to be true. Otherwise don't say it.

That caught me off guard too...seems to be not true at all..

Like people look for treason to get p---ed off.

Has there been a draft in C Blog history where someone didn't want Danny fired?

Is it true Ainge is considering trading our remaining picks for magic beans that have to be planted in the full moonlight?

I hear his apologists think it's a great idea and are insistent it's the best deal out there.

No, but I have these magic beans to sell you.  They work.  You're going to love them.

I think the draft was a letdown for a lot of fans, after all the drama about Dunn and the leverage for a trade Ainge may have had. None of that materialized. Instead, Ainge drafted a kid who probably will not have a big impact next year.

Ainge did not get much of an upgrade of team weaknesses in this draft. He better do that in trades and FA signings.

He tends to draft the best player he sees, regardless of need. I think the Celtics are at a point where needs should be addressed if they are to get better. I don't see that yet.
