Offense and  Defense and his combination as a player is a better player. You keep the best player. There are only so many roster spots. Taking Dunn and giving teams even more leverage is not smart.  We have Isaiah and Smart.  J. Brown was the best player on the board.

Agree. People are complaining he didn't do anything, but maybe it was too steep.

Bulls wanted Lavine and Dunn for Butler. To me thats pretty high for a team who have said they are starting over and are offering to get rid of a player.

So maybe Bulls wouldn't budge if DA didn't give them #3 Crowder/AB and 2017 Nets. Which that right there could be a big pick.

Why Ainge doesn't draft and stash is beyond me.  Why waste spots with the Melos, Hunters, and Youngs of the world.  I guess the Spurs model isn't as good as the Hawks.

If Brown makes an All-Star game I will gladly eat crow but...I just don't see much of a player there.
