holds his cards and makes the right decisions.  Even moreso than me sometimes.  A lot of people would  choke and make shortsighted deals but if you think about this logically it makes sense.  Trading for Noel, Covington(garbage. worse player than crowder), and 2 late firsts which we dont need is not what we needed.  Brown is a better player than Noel. Offense and  Defense and his combination as a player is a better player. You keep the best player. There are only so many roster spots. Taking Dunn and giving teams even more leverage is not smart.  We have Isaiah and Smart.  J. Brown was the best player on the board.

Plus jaylen brown is going to be a superstar in this league.  I called it first.  He is the most mentally and physically ready player this class.

I will log on every day for 1000 days and give you 1000 tommy points if he ever makes an allstar team. Screencap it.

Agree. People are complaining he didn't do anything, but maybe it was too steep.

Bulls wanted Lavine and Dunn for Butler. To me thats pretty high for a team who have said they are starting over and are offering to get rid of a player.

So maybe Bulls wouldn't budge if DA didn't give them #3 Crowder/AB and 2017 Nets. Which that right there could be a big pick.

maybe i'm wrong but I suspect you to be a troll.

anyway, I disagree with everything. so far this is all playing out the way I assumed it would. every team has low-balled us - BECAUSE THEY KNOW WE CAN'T USE ALL THESE PICKS.

it was a bad move holding all these picks, I don't think we should just give picks and players away but there are/were moves available and thus far Ainge has overvalued both.

I have also predicted that Brown will make an All Star game in the next few years. You're going to be a busy man handing out Tommy Points.
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

Why Ainge doesn't draft and stash is beyond me.  Why waste spots with the Melos, Hunters, and Youngs of the world.  I guess the Spurs model isn't as good as the Hawks.

If Brown makes an All-Star game I will gladly eat crow but...I just don't see much of a player there.
