I read about Chad Ford saying that last night. How crazy is that? Having to draft a guy with considerably less information than everyone else sucks. I think a circumstantial case can be made both for that valuing higher draft picks and also devaluing them, so I don't know it it helps us much. They might not have a good idea of tiers like other teams who would be just as fine having the 8 pick as the 3, so just by virtue of having a higher number that'd be appealing, but they're also not going to be smitten by a player to the point where they'd trade Boogie for them. Oh well.
