I think you would say there are about 5 teams that openly covet Kris Dunn. He has emerged as "the guy" at 3. I think we might have gone from a 2-player draft to a 3-player draft over the course of the past few days. You have to assume the value of the pick is headed in the right direction, right?

Really believe that either Philly or LA take Dunn, and Ingram falls to us!

Philly has said they are taking Simmons. LA has try to trade Russell for a top 5 thinking they could get Dunn at 4 or 5 because Boston has a ton of guards. Even though Mini and PHX has enough guards them selves.

Philly wants Dunn too, and is wanting Bostons.

But the rumor of Boston now taking Dunn has now made it so DA has leverage on Philly, they'll give DA what he wants, or close to it, and DA get the big he needs. And it's also has LA considering taking Dunn at two because they wont deal with Boston and Dunn wont be there later, and that would drop Ingram down to three and we get a top 2 pick who could be the face of the franchise for years to come. Or a better prospect to trade for a vet player.

If this is what DA is thinking and has leaked info out to get teams thinking just this, shows that he's trying to work every angle possible for the best deal.

I agree. I think Danny is trying to maximize his leverage with Philly in a trade for Okafor.  The fact that we discussed trading for him last Feb indicates that Brad would be on board with getting him.  It all comes down to price. Maybe Covington is the hold up.

Will be a very interesting draft night!!

I thought the Lakers already told Ingram that they are drafting him?

However you slice it, Ainge is in a great position. And he knows it. He can't lose.
