I had a feeling during the postseason that the Hawks and Horford were heading towards a mutual separation. Just don't think Atlanta is willing to max him out (nor do I think they should, at this point his career) and I don't think Horford sees much of a future in terms of winning in Atlanta.

ESPN sources say that the Hawks are now shopping both No. 12 and No. 21 in tomorrow night's draft

I would try to move up to 12.

So all Atlanta got for Teague was 12 in a thin draft?

Wow.

Not really a wow.... Thats pretty good.     He is on an expiring.   And they have DS stepping up a PG.

Terrible return. Definitely would not have made that move, especially if you're trying to spin the pick. Ol' Technicolor Hair is weird, and unstable as your prime point guard. Don't like his game at all.

Teague is a pretty good player to get for just giving up the 12th pick. Celtics can't get a much better player with the 3 pick?? I think teams are posturing. If a team falls in love with Dunn then Celts are in the drivers seat.

Everybody knows Atlanta wants to roll with Schroeder at their PG, which means they have to get rid of Teague.  It's the same problem Philly has with all their centers and Ainge would have if he drafted and kept Dunn.  If people know you have to make a move, they're not going to offer as much.

intriguing. I like it. Chicago needs a point gaurd now.

reported deal has Lopez and Grant to Chicago. Genuinely shocked Chicago is getting positive value for Rose.

This trade seems awful for the Jazz.  George Hill?  He's not that good and on the downside.  Teague is younger and a WAY better player.  Exum will be back, I just don't see what the point of Hill is, they're not winning the championship next year anyway.

What does hair have to do with being a good player? Do you.

I just don't see this trade as having "set the price" for #3. Sorry. I'd like to believe that it did, but I don't.

PG: George Hill
SG: Rodney Hood
SF: Gordon Hayward
PF: Derrick Favors
 C: Rudy Gobert

I really like that Utah team. The interior defense and rebounding with Favors and Gobert is the strongest in the league. One of the top defensive PGs in the league in George Hill. Lots of size and length in the backcourt with Hill and Hood. Hayward good size on the wing too. Neither Hood or Hayward are great defenders but they have so much help around them and with their (Hood, Hayward) size and quickness, they should be difficult to break down.

Hood's emergence last year offensively was big for Utah. Another solid addition in George Hill. Hayward as their main man offensively. Obviously, still lacking in top quality dribble penetration and playmaking but .... nice collective offensive group. Three guys who can dribble some, pass some, score some, and really shoot the ball well.

Probably only an average offensive team at best but that is enough when combined with that defensive strength to make Utah a very strong team next season.

They'll be very good. I could see them winning roughly 50.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Yes, that is where I have them pegged too.

Strange human beings rarely make great players. I don't like him, and I don't like his game. Way too easy to goad into a meltdown.
