I don't mind what DA is doing honestly but there are different ways to do things.  I've never been in the pro  tanking camp.  That has it's own issues.  Teams build through the draft and remain in the lottery year after year.  Guys like Marcus, KO, Sully etc upside is somewhat limited where Ainge is trying to develop them as possible roleplayers anyways.

I don't mind what DA is trying to do.  It just is a lot of work trying to find the right situation each time.

Honestly man Marcus was going to shoot bad regardless whether he was starting or not.  He did start and his shooting was just as bad. He's just not a very good offensive player right now.  He wasn't in college either. He was a volume scorer in college and his percentages weren't very good.

The C's are trying to develop him i n other ways. He's still young. I don't mind it. He'll probably end up a more mature player because of it.

Philly is bottom of the barrel. They are having their own problems trying to get out of the basement. It's why they want to trade with us.

It's just not that easy to get those top players in the nba.  Plus players coming in are so young.  It's really not that easy.

You have to be a really good drafter and know who's good.  Make smart trades etc.

I hear you. I feel the same way about shooting. I just thought he should have had the ball in his hands backing up running point and getting his reps running stuff and he barely did. I felt we still had hoped he could play some point guard so play him there. But maybe I'm wrong and they had already given up on that a long time ago.

People used to complain about Doc not playing young players but it was teh same thing. He actually did the celtics just do things that way.  They expect to win and don't develop players like that.  Joe Johnson, Kedrick Brown. There are a lot of players like that. They weren't patient with Chauncey etc. 

At least DA is keeping these guys and developing them somewhat.

As severely limited Noel is on offense I can't feel too bad if we were to acquire him. Everyone was thinking golden state's 3 point style was the new NBA and everyone had to be like them. We have an elite perimeter defense. It's not so bad adding an elite big man defender to that. It could be worse and not even Philly wanting to deal with us. I kinda feel relieved that they do.

I agree with you that radio hosts are freakin annoying though lol.  I listen to them thinking the same thing.  It's awful lol.   csnne.  felger and mazz.  98.5.  1440. I listen to these stations and it's just bad.  Sometimes you can get good news when they actually report stuff.  But when they just are talking for the sake of talking it's like omg how can anyone be that whiny and stupid. Sometimes it's entertaining, but other times I am just like what the heck am I the last intelligent person left on earth?

Are you aware that Cleveland was #2 in the league in 3PM? 12.3 per game compared to GS at 12.8 per game. The NBA is still about 3 point shooting.

But, as always, the NBA is primarily about players.

Yeah, I heard that about Cleveland being 2nd in that category. Maybe I'm just holding out hope . I wanted to build more through the draft in addition to the great Brooklyn deal but with this way we are going I guess I'm thinking with already such a great perimeter defense, and we add Noel,maybe  with the two future Brooklyn picks we can still strike it rich and get 1 or two TWO way stars and then finally a free agent star also may want to come or get acquired in a trade. I'm trying to embrace the different defensive identity. But I realize this may be unrealistic since even our title team with scorers galore was also great at D. I suppose I'm hoping( probably unrealistic) that the scorers come later through free agency or draft picks

Funny about Felger and Mazz. The worst. But man, it's tough being a Celtic fan with our media outside of a few guys. I remember listening to tanguay and freaking Lou Merloni crying all upset about the money Avery Bradley got. I'm thinking," Lou Merloni???" Merloni?!"

You can't let it get to you too much.  You aren't in the same room with them where you can say these things and people run with crazy crap. I get it.  I deal with it on the internet all the time.  People don't know who they are dealing with different experiences whatever it is.

But honestly talk radio hosts just are clearly stupid. They do it for ratings.  I think to myself how can they not see the obvious thing.  I don't know if they do but the way they talk they clearly don't.

The celtics guys are the worst.  FElger actually has some good things to say about the red sox sometimes. It's funny when they do the whole "trader danny" thing though. You just have to take it as entertainment.

Unfortunately some people take what the media and people say as fact sometimes.
