Crowder #16 #23 for Monroe. Draft Hield or Dunn third.

Who would you pick #3 with this team. Bender would be nice behind Gasol. Hield provides a knockdown shooter. Dunn is probably BPA.

 Monroe Olynyk
 Gasol Bender
 Durant Hunter
 Bradley Smart
 Thomas Rozier

What a versatile frontcourt that is.

This may be just me, but I wouldn't trade Crowder alone for Monroe. It may not be entirely his fault, but teams with Monroe seem to underperform. IMO he's a one-way offensive player with no upside. He is what he is. Crowder is also on a great contract while Monroe will make $17 million this season and has a $17 million option for the following year that he will likely opt out of and seek an expensive long term contract.

Terrible defensive front court and Crowder is a better player than Monroe right now.

better to sign a FA than trade Crowder for a year of Monroe. Don't want to mess with the D chemistry.

It's not just you. Monroe is approaching the point where he's a negative asset. Look, for example, at the trade that Pelton floated out for him : #31 and #51. Giving up one of the assets listed in the OP would probably be an overpay.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I'd rather keep Crowder and trade #3 for Noel+another asset (2017 pick?)
I'm bitter.

It is the salary and player option that makes his value so low. At $8m, teams would take him in a second for better assets. Or change the player option to a team option and there would be a lot more interest.
