6/20 Dx Mock

The latest (http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2016/) has us with the following:

Dunn
Davis
Korkmaz
Yabusele
Papagiannis (passing on Maker at 36)
Hammons
Layman
Bolomboy

Interesting group around 45:  Brogdon, Hammons, Selden, Levert, Siakam, Zimmerman, Carter.  Seems like high value for that pick.

I like this draft overall.  Good athleticism with Dunn and Davis, lots of draft and stash candidates, and a few seniors late who might pan out.  I'd have a hard time passing up Maker at 35 though.

If you pick Dunn...what do you do with Smart, Bradley and Rozier? You have four of the same players plus Thomas

Hearing today that Danny has had talks with the Bucks for Middleton for the 3 pick. Also the cavs want a first round pick..

That is my only reservation, too...but this mock is set up that we even have the option of Maker at 35- crazy!

While I agree one of these guys become a likely trade candidate, this board has a tendency to generalize these players.

Example: What do Smart and Bradley really have in common as players, other than being good defenders? They basically couldn't be any different as offensive players.

From my end, the obvious candidate to go is Smart.

As for this draft, I agree it looks strong. But I do not buy that Dunn is going to be a franchise player ever.

Dunn, Smart, Rozier, and Bradley are all very different players.  Dunn would be the best pure point on the team, and would take Turner's minutes

I'd keep Dunn, trade one or two of the others for Middleton.  Bradley and Rozier for Middleton?

Just think they don't do much to address the lack of outside shooting by taking Dunn. Would make that a priority in free agency. This team really needs pure shooters from outside

Yeah, could you expound on where you've seen both the Middleton rumor and the Cleveland rumor?

I see no way where Middleton is worth the third pick. But the Cavs thing is interesting, especially if they decide to move on from Love.

Either top impact player or like a middleton and top 10 pick

Middleton and 10th pick ok with me
