I know the Celtics RealGM site has a few guys that apparently have inside intel in the front office. They apparently reported the KG and Ray deals much before they actually happened, and might have broken other rumors too.

Is there anyone here on this forum that knows some people within the organization, or within any organization really, who gets info/reports from them? My guess is we don't, or else said person would do his/her best to bring us information, even if it doesn't relate to the Celtics. But I guess it doesn't hurt to ask.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

FYI, none of the RealGM "insiders" are legit.  Just trolls who follow twitter and make educated guesses.  There's legends of these fake insiders guessing correctly in the past, but there's no evidence of this and the moderators there don't care enough to call them out on it.

Yes. I am Ainge's consultant, but I'm sworn to secrecy so I just post crazy ideas. I'll throw you guys a bone every now and then.

My sources tell me they aren't reliable at all.

Weird. I have sources close to a key player on a certain franchise that tell me that they tend to be reliable

Depends on what you consider an "insider". I think occasionally guys run into guys who know guys. It's fun to hear those stories, but too difficult to know for sure how real they are (unless they are really ridiculous).

I don't think there's ever been anyone with consistent, deep inside info over the course of years. Whoever people were talking to in 2007 are probably not now.

It's fun though, so I always encourage "insiders". Some people take offense, though, like it's a personal insult to distribute bs on the internet. But that's 90% of what the internet is for.

CROTOR.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

CROTOR.  ;D

My first though, too...

In response to the OP, I don't know of any specific insiders, but saltlover is Larry Coon, isn't he?  :P

Depends how define insiders. Those who work in the league in some capacity is a pretty good definition.

Yes multiple CBlog posters work for teams in various capacities. Usually the don't post nearly as much as they used prior to getting their jobs though and just try not to get fired if they remain active.

Never had anyone leak stuff here afaik, though with the signal to noise ratio that I gleefully help with my own noise we'd likely never know even if they did.

Also we definitely have league notables read the blog, and maybe even the forums though that isn't confirmed like the blog is.

Ainge keeps everything close to his chest I don't think even three quarters of his staff knows what he's doing. Insiders are pretty much Ainge, his son, Brad Stevens n the owners. I don't see anyone knowing what's going on leaking any information its kind of the equivalent to national security
