...I just hope he will be a bust for the Lakers, not the Celtics. I am growing increasingly concerned he will fall to us. Can somebody please convince me that he will not be a bust? Seeing us pick him is about the only thing that will make me sick on draft night (unless we trade him to someone right away).

in the highly unlikely event that the Lakers pass on him...It would be funny to see the Celtics brass scramble to figure out why.

Although I'm sure he's No.1 or 2 on Danny's draft board.

Trust me. He wont be a bust

His height/wingspan plus guard skills.

He just needs to bulk up a little

I have a eerily weird gut feeling that we will hear something negative about Ingram in the coming days (health related) that will lead to widespread speculation that he will drop on draft night.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Can somebody with photoshop skills make one with Ingram sporting the Laremy Tunsil mask and leak it 10 minutes before the draft?  :o

Of all the guys in this boom-or-bust looking draft, Ingram is probably one of the least likely to completely fall short unless you are dead-set on him becoming Durant 2.0.

Should develop into a solid #2 /low #1 option on offense with above-average D with a lot of potential to become much more.  If he falls to the Celtics I'd be ecstatic.

I claim no clairvoyant as to how good Ingram or any other draft prospect will turn out to be; but Ingram falling to #3 is the least of my concerns - tbh concern is not the right word  :D

The reports I have read of him point out that he knows the fundamentals, has a nice frame that draws comparison with Durant and has a good down to earth character. You can see for yourself what DraftExpress, arguably one of the best sites on the draft,  has written of him

IMO, unless he gets injured, his floor is that of a starter on a decent team. His ceiling might be as high as a multiple All Star appearance player.

Ingram seems like a chiller. Definitely the best joint destroyer in the top 10..

A little? He makes Bender look like LeBron.

Interesting take by the OP.  I think Ingram has the lowest bust potential of any of the players projected to go in the top 5.

He may not live up to his ceiling, but I highly doubt he flat out busts (as in ends up like Anthony Bennett, Kwame Brown, Derrick Williams, or Darko Milicic).

Dude, I've been getting that feeling too. The fact that he only put on 1 lonely pound during that bulking regimen where most players put on 10+ felt strange and I wonder if he has some condition- that would explain the talk of the lakers picking hield and Ainge meeting with Ingrams agent.

He looks like he's on a different planet most of the time lol. Dude looks like he doesn't know where he is half the time. Don't care, he'd still look good in green (pun intended)

Maybe before posting that he's a bust you could PM someone or ask a question on a board.......or even crazier do actual research. But I think you will find people here that love scouting from home and are happy to talk about it in a PM or in a board.

I've been watching him since he was almost 16. He has everything you could want, he is not Durant but bc Durant is longer, but Ingram is quicker than Durant and can handle the ball like a point. He is also younger than Durant was as a freshman in college.

If he falls to us, it's not because the Lakers saw something wrong with him.....more likely in that case they take Hield because they are confident on signing a STAR PG in FA, this year or next. The wiser thing for LAL would be to trade Ingram to us for Hield and etc.
