I'd do the same trade but keep Crowder and just move up to 1 and draft Simmons.

so the 6ers would be jumping at the chance to swap places with us?  A solid playoff team with an unclear road as to how we take the next step?  As opposed to staying put with both the #1 pick and an automatic 20ppg center?

Is medical marijuana legal in Pennsylvania?  Because if so, maybe Philly at least keeps the phone off the hook for us to complete the entire offer before they hang up on us.

I'm trying to envision this team with Simmons and Okafor and how that gets us any closer to a championship and I'm not sure how it does.  For one neither guy is a defender and neither guy can shoot.  How do they even fit together ?  It would be a weird combo.  Interesting one but weird.

All of these are probably true. Okafor can't even land a top 5 lottery pick and I doubt Philly fans want this trade either.

If Philly took this deal the franchise would be burned to the ground by its fanbase and NBA fans everywhere. I think this one takes the cake for biggest homer trade I've ever seen

We would be better off(this is somewhat 2kish):
MIL: Jabari Parker, Henson, #10 4 IT and AB
Sixers: Okafor and Lakers future conveyed pick4 Smart, rj hunt and #10
Pelicans: #6 and etc4 Crowder
PHO: #4 and Tyson Chandler's contract4 #6 and Amir(I believe they can waive him then)
MIN:#5 and Zach Lavine, and 4 #4(so they can draft Bender)

Now as far as Ingram and Deangello Russel are concerned, the Laker's could draft Hield but more likely they will select Ingram and try to trade him for Hield. They have also put it out there that Russell can be had for a top #5 pick.
