If I had to choose. Chriss, he's bigger, jumps better, more consistently becuase of his size. And most importantly hiss shooting stroke is much better at this stage.

Chriss is the last guy I want with this pick.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

If your the Celtics and you want either Brown or Chriss don't you just roll the dice and trade back to 5, 6, or 7 and still get the player you want and assets? Between Murray, Dunn, and Bender someone will want to trade up. Maybe get a future 1st out of the deal.

What do you get for assets? We already have to many picks and a team full of role players. Not sure what people want when they say his.

Rather trade it for Okafor....and I don't really want Okafor.

Draft Murray or Hield if Ainge has soured on Bender.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

To me he's the most likely bust in the lottery.

Great athlete with size and little experience.  He has limited film on him because he essential came out of no where.  Low basketball IQ...fouls out of games, makes poor decisions on the court.

I love the kids highlight reals but he's got Tyres Thomas, Stromile Swift written all over him.

Best case he's a Gerald Green type that bounces in and out of the league until he puts it together.

You know also who is athletic with a mediocre iq?
Blake Griffin. Deandre Jordan. Russell Westbrook

My guess is Brown because his qualities are reminiscent of Justice Winslow, who Danny fell in love with before last year's draft.

Maybe there is a way we can draft both

Trade idea
To phoenix: 16, 23, Crowder, Jerebko
To Celtics: 4th pick

Celtics draft Brown and Chriss

Lineup

Amir
Chriss
Brown
AB
IT

Bench

KO
Mickey
Young/Hunter
Smart
Rozier

Listen, man. I respect some of the things you say and you seem to be engaged. But, if you want us to be a winning team and think this is the path then I think much higher of you than I should. I understand the anti-bender hype but you're nuts if you think that lineup wins more then 30 games. And you're nuts if you think brad Stevens, for one second, would trot that squad out on opening night.
2019 Historical Draft - Golden State

C - Bill Russell/Joel Embiid
PF - Giannis Antetokounmpo/Tommy Heinsohn
SF - Kevin Durant/Billy Cunningham
SG - Bruce Bowen/David Thompson
PG - Isiah Thomas/James Harden

If I have to choose between these two, then Brown.

I really like Chriss because he's Husky and he was exciting to watch this year when he was "playing right".

But he had quite a few "playing wrong" moments that leave me a little nervous to take him with the #3.   I'd love to get him with the #16 or any pick from #8 on down.

Brown also has a bit of scary downside, if he doesn't improve his shot and clean up some sloppiness in his game.  But otherwise I'd be comfortable with taking Brown with the #3.   He's got the potential to be the kind of player who can dominate games on both ends of the floor.

NBA Officiating - Corrupt?  Incompetent?  Which is worse?  Does it matter?  It sucks.

It's six days away from the draft

I'll probably change my mind 10 times between now and then… This is not the time for any "Final" decisions as a fan.

But if I had to pick today, I guess I would pick CHRISS....today, at this moment, now, at this time,  for the time being, if there were some immediacy.

I watched  A bunch of Cal games this year, and brown looked lost, made poor decisions, and in general didn't look like my idea of a number three pick. I especially remember the game that Ainge visited  when Cal Played 'Zona.

Bill Walton called the game and was gushing about a truly lackluster performance by Brown. Walton was literally and figuratively tripping.  He was buzzed out of his mind .

I take brown as he's more safer
Chris has only recently jumped in the conversation
Also he didn't rebound that well for someone with his athleticism

Brown had a good but not excellent first year.

He struggled the last 3-4 games.  Not sure why

Both have their issues and plus .

With brown he has to shoot the ball better (in game situation not just against a chair) and Chriss needs to be a better defensive rebounder

Which is harder to do.......
