Chriss reminds me of two players = 50% Stromile Swift 50% Ersan Ilyasova.
Not convinced he has star potential despite his athleticism and outside shooting.
Looks short of BBIQ on both ends. That he will underachieve on both ends. Questionable ball-handling. Non-entity as a passer. Limited shot-creation.
Looks much more likely to be a role player (starter) than a high end player to me.
I think he's got a very strong natural scoring ability. Doesn't really know what he's doing and gets himself into a lot of bad situations, but he always seems to generate makeable shots out of it.
I watched him play Gonzaga and he ran directly into that Polish giant they have at center on one of his tunnel vision drives. By all accounts it should have been a turnover, but he somehow managed to quickly pivot and get daylight for a soft little hook. Reminded me of Antawn Jamison.
For an 18-year-old who hasn't played serious basketball for all that long, it was pretty impressive.
