Boston - Butler, #14

Chicago - Okafor, Bradley, Rozier, #23

Philly - #3

This works for everyone involved -

Boston gets their star and a late lottery pick they can use with 16 to move up;

Chicago gets a franchise cornerstone big in Okafor, a great, still young vet 2 guard in AB, and their point guard prospect that they envied last year. This gives them the best of both worlds by staying competitive in the East while getting younger and good prospects to build around. Portis, a defensive minded PF who can stretch the floor, is also a good pairing with Okafor in the front court;

Philly - gets Dunn for Okafor.

This honestly makes too much sense all around not to happen. This is nearly a perfect trade for each party's needs/wants, imo.

Anyone else see this apparent report of Boston prepping an offer of AB and 3 for Butler?

I would do that trade, rather trade for the #1 pick though. ;)

Which one are you referring to? The Forever Green account or NBA Statistics account that he's supposedly using as a source? I didn't look into them, which is why I posted the link to see if anyone else saw anything like that from a more known/credible source.

Added a poll. Do you guys think that this is a balanced three way trade? It essentially gives Chocago just what they need to trade Butler - prospects to rebuild around while still staying somewhat competitive for a playoff spot, which is supposedly what every team wants when trading a star.

For us, we get our star, and the switch from 23 to 14 is also notable, since it gives us a much better chance at trading up into the mid lottery for someone like Poeltl or someone else dropping (Brown). Philly also gets what they want, too.
