Bender will drop

Hield will drop a little. So will Dunn

Chriss will climb climb
he is at #3 now, so climbing will be challenging. you believe he will be drafted before simmons and  ingram. got it.

Brown since Winslow dropped Brown can drop. Same range 8-13
yeah, this is my #2 guess.

Of that current top 10?  It's easiest to pick #10, of course, but I think Ellenson will be on the board when the C's pick at 16.

That might be. Poeltl could be another. I'd be thrilled to have either at 16.

There seems to be a top 2, a 3-8 group (3 guards, Bender, Criss Brown), and 2 bigs 9-10 (Ellenson, Poeltl). Whoever is left among that second group isn't going to slip by SAC who is desperate to nail a name pick, After that I'd say either Ellenson or Poetl will slip some.

Who has him listed at 3?

Majority of the mocka have him in the 7-9 range

I think DX is one of the only ones, but I trust them more than anyone else.

I mean this in all honesty, did you actually read the original post in the thread? He asked who we thought would fall based on the most recent Draft Express mock, which he then linked.   ::)

I'm going to say Chriss.

He's listed at #4 on that link right now, and I honestly don't think he's worthy of that given how high a risk he carries.

He looks far too much like Jeff Green in every imaginable way, from the lack of rebounding skills to the physical attributes to the (relative) lack of intangibles.

On the other hand I could see Poeltl jumping unexpectedly.  Athletic, defensively versatile, two-way seven footers with strong intangibles don't come along often.

His ceiling might not be perceived to be that high, but he's only 20 years old and already has the talent and physical attributes to play significant minutes in the front court.

Loving that mock either way though - if we get Dunn, Davis, Valentine, Johnson and Makerwith our top five picks I'll be beyond thrilled.

I'm going with Poeltl. Such a solid prospect but doesn't fit all that well with the movement of the modern NBA.

I'm hoping no one "drops". Last year Winslow dropping probably cost us the chance of moving up. If WCS had fallen to Miami at 10 I think they would have made a good trade partner

Yup...Valentine and Ullis

There are several really rough reports that Valentines' knees are career threatening bad...the comments I read said he might not be able to make it through an 82 game season and others thought he would have a short career at best.

Why? He's very mobile and isn't a liability on the defend end. In fact, he's very good at moving his feet  and defending the PNR.

I think Heild will drop. His age and low upside will lose out to all the GMs falling in love with youth and potential on draft night.

Murry MIGHT drop to 8-10 because the lack of lateral quickness on the D. His offense might be just good enough for teams to take a chance.

BUT I do really hope Ingram falls to three.  ;D
