I saw this while I was reading articles this morning before work....watch the guys face.

Could Love value get any lower?  Could he want anything other than to leave this team?

As I stated on another thread, I'm not interested in Love if he costs us the 3rd pick but if we can move our other first round picks for him and a current player on our team I would take the chance.

Thoughts?

[dang], that change of emotion of Love...kinda feel bad for him, there was another play in yesterday;s game where Shumpert did an inbound play but overpassed which caused LeBron to commit a backcourt. That instant, LeBron threw the ball up in the air, won't that usually be a technical?

Playing with LeBron must be really tough in my opinion.

I'm right there with you. As long as Love doesn't cost us #3 (or any of the Brooklyn picks) I'm game to pick him up. I think he's a terrible fit at Cleveland while I think Stevens could put him in a position to succeed. He'd get away from a ball-hogging, prima-donna driven team to one that moves the ball well and has the players to compliment his talents.
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

Apparently he wasn't trying to high five but was discussing defensive strategy. However that doesn't take away from his reaction.

I want Love on our team for the right price and I hope it happens if only to save him from the misery he is in right now

While it's a fun story, that's not what happened at all.

Just ask yourself, why would Love try to high five LeBron after a play where Kyrie missed a layup and Tristan Thompson got fouled on the put back and LeBron didn't even touch the ball at all for the entire possession?

Here's the full play:

And here's an article:

This is why Love is overrated. Just doesnt know how to play defense

Only good for leaving his man early to try to grab rebounds. But thompson is covering his man, playing D and grabbing the rebounds anyways

Lebron is prob like why am i dumb to trade wiggins away for this guy

Wow.  Great find.  Amazing how the cut of a video can give the viewer a completely different narrative.
I still think his value is freakishly low...I think he ended the game with 3pts.

TP for you.

The funny part isn't really whether he was high fiving or not, but rather how his expression changes to one of profound sadness after he initially starts off trying to do something with at least a pleasant expression on his face.

Love needs the ball to make better numbers and he's playing with Lebron in the top 10 and Irving in the top 20 in usage% (aka "ballhoggery"). Als0 has Tristan T eating at his rebound numbers. Bad fit and both LBJ and KI have some drama queen in them to boot. Only IT is in the top 20 as far as usage% on the Cs and we have no one similar to TT.  No drama queens that I'm aware of.

AB or MS + JC + JJ works. Some Amir + JJ+ 3 and whatever other picks works too for us, but not them. Think AB would have a lot of value to them chasing Curry.

Yup.  100% was not looking for a high five.

Wasn't really a pleasant expression if you watch the full clip.  It's the expression someone makes when they are arguing a bad call or pleading their case... pained/shouting.

But out of context, it looks like he's gleefully smiling like a lunatic, which makes it funny.  He's definitely talking to LeBron about the defensive play in which Love got dunked on... hence the hand in the air showing LeBron what he was doing.

I doubt Ainge would be interested in Love at this point. His contract is bloated, and his stay in Cleveland has lowered his value and exposed weaknesses.

I think a more attractive option is Pau Gasol for 1-2 years. Short term money. Biyombo might also be considered for defense up front. And then there is Horford.

Did you boys really need to go on a fact finding mission here? It was better as a satire. Genius, I'd say...
