No.
But if we did, #3 this year. Right to swap with NJ next year and NJ's pick in 2018. That might get Sac to pick up the phone.
No one is giving up 3 lottery picks - likely all top 8 - for anyone not named Michael Jordan or Larry Bird.
The Nets did for Pierce and Garnett...
LOL. TP for the giggle.
Of course, they thought they were giving us 3 picks in the 20s and one of those was to take the Crash Wallace contract back.
Which is kind of the point, Boston wouldn't be giving Sacramento 3 lottery picks. Sacto would be getting the #3 pick this year and two future unknown picks. It's easy for us to sit here and say Brooklyn will undoubtedly be a lottery team again the next two seasons, but you can't do say that for certain, things change.
What happens if the 2017 & 2018 picks we send out turn out to be either late-lottery, or non-lottery picks? Also consider whoever Sacto drafts with the #3 this year has very little chance of ever being as good as Cousins.
I don't think those picks alone would be enough for Sacramento, to be honest. It might be, but it would be a very risky move on their part.
