His agent knows it would look bad to see Dunn miss shots against the folding chair. That's how bad his offense is. LOL. And BTW he's 22, he's not the youngest prospect in the draft, and I don't see him as a 'can't miss' more ready to contribute guy. He may be a very good defender for a guard, but I don't see him having Smart level defense with the offense a work in progress.
And if he's not even competing vs other players in workouts, I find that a big red flag. OR a big possibility is that Dunn has a promise with a certain team in the top 10 already and just wants to make sure he goes to that team.
Dunn is one of the best perimeter defenders, passers and ball handlers in this draft. He's an excellent (and borderline 'elite') athlete and has excellent size and length for the PG spot. He is excellent at getting to the basket (has a rediculous free throw rate for a guard or 44.9% over his four college years) and has already shown his outside shot has potential (35% and 37% over his past two seasons).
Dunn has the potential to be the best player in this draft when all is said and done. He could very easily become better then Ingram, Bender, Hield or Murray - perhaps even Simmons. His potential is off the charts, and he may well have the highest floor of anybody in this draft.
I wouldn't sleep on him - he could very easily become an All-Star in this league.
