Disappointed, but it's also what I view as "most likely scenario."

I'm not sure those will be the picks but this type of scenario is very possible. Like others said I hope we don't end up making all those picks, prefer to trade them to either move up, for next year or a veteran.

I'll be cool with it, even if the pick ends up as Bender.

SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas

No trades or major signings? Not likely.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I'd rather see the Celtics make no big moves than make a bad trade or sign an fa to a bad contract.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Not sure anyone could have a worse summer than no trades, no signings and wasting the 3 on the Euromistake.

Total EF5 wipeout.

If they can't trade for or sign a big, they sure as heck better draft one or two.

If we head into next season with the same roster plus a handful of rookies, minus Sullinger, Zeller, and perhaps Turner, then I would call that a failure of imagination on Ainge's part.

At the very least I would expect that the team would prioritize player development more prominently in that case.

Nicer than whining all the time about people who disagree with you.

Very disappointed to say the least. Everybody is expecting us to take a huge step forward after a good season this year, hence the disappointment if we end up being worse or just as good as our current squad.
Jack of all trades, master of none.

For those of you who would be disappointed, would you feel better if it resulted in us landing Durant next offseason? Particularly if we also won the lottery next year?

What if the equation slightly changed: If instead of re-signing Turner, we signed Howard? We would still be in position to sign Durant next offseason, but I think adding Howard makes us a competitor this year (55+ wins).

I will be OK if the team isn't set up to take a major leap forward, if that means the team has recognized the necessity of taking a step back to develop recently drafted players in order to take a step forward long term.

If the team is just sticking with the status quo and punting on picking a direction for another year, that is not OK with me.

But how would it accomplish either of those things?

I mean no one (that Ive seen) is suggesting giving up the 2017 pick, and everyone has pretty much made it clear that maintaining cap space for KD this year and next is key.
