Remember Emily Austen?  She worked for Celtics.com just recently.

Apparently she's not very nice..

Glad she wasn't working for the Celtics...would have been a headache and an embarrassment.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
She really managed to nail most minority groups in that one interview - great job, Emily!

She made several terrible comments, but I thought this one was appropriate for tonight's Finals game"

"Austen, 27, also referred to Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player Kevin Love as a "little b - - - -.''

I can't imagine mainstream media will.

It's one thing to do what someone like Britt McHenry did and manage to bounce back.   What Emily did was on a whole other level; playing into & perpetuating racist stereotypes.  Her career as a tv personality could very well be done.

EDIT: Of course, I wouldn't be shocked if Barstool brought her onboard for this, either.

Does Trump need a spokesman?

He's already sizing her up for his VP candidate.

If she doesnt get that gig, I'm sure Fox News will hire her.

Ironically, Deadspin posted the article about her and then they and their parent-company Gawker files for bankruptcy a few hours later.  So everyone's having a bad day.

Just watching some of the footage, I have never seen a bigger bunch of tools in my life, says something about the company that she keeps.

To me, this seems typical of barstool sports. As said above, she's a beauty so she'll never struggle career wise.

I've found barstool go be somewhat racist in the past- why I stopped checking them out. That and their bandwagon celtics coverage.

And a tp for you sir.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
