If Danny uses the pick, and presuming that Simmons and Ingram are off the board, I don't think I'll be excited about the selection, whoever it is. It's probable that all other players in this draft will take at least a couple of seasons to have any impact.
I think Dunn is the guy I prefer least; he has an interesting background, but he wouldn't release his medicals, which seems fishy to me. I'm also concerned that Jaylen Brown will be Josh Smith 2.0—which is to say, not someone you can build around.
Call me a homer, but I do think there's a legitimate chance Boston can sign Durant, and that he would be a great fit here.
I'm not keen on signing or trading for anyone 30 or over, but if signing Horford means we get Durant, I'm good with that.
I know that Kevin Love has his warts, but I think he'd fit pretty well, and be pretty happy, in Boston, so I'm not closing myself off to the idea of acquiring him.
If Philly or L.A. takes someone other than Simmons or Ingram, I think Danny should draft whichever of those isn't taken, in which case I'd be fine with either keeping that player and developing him, or flipping him for a top-tier established player.
I also am still open to acquiring Cousins.
