I think it would be fair to say that the value of Kevin Love is at all time low. While I agree with everyone he is an awful fit in Cleveland, one also can't argue that, at a minimum teams have become a lot better at exploiting him on defense and his rebounding and athleticism is down a little bit from his time in Minnesota (this could be due to some injuries with his back or lost strength in his shoulder).
On the other hand, Wiggins has lived up to the hype as a scorer and at worst an average defender and seems like he could begin challenging for all star games (he averaged 21 points on 46% shooting this year) all while being 21 years old. These first two years were supposed to be the years that Love offered the biggest advantage over Wiggins and it appears that the Cavs (barring a pretty drastic turnaround in the finals) will not win a title.
How long does this trade haunt the Cavs? Do they now miss the chance to challenge for a title over the next 3-4 years as lebron declines and Wiggins ascends? You throw in the fact that Love makes 15 million more a year than Wiggins and the Cavs are over the luxury tax and this trade becomes even harder to swallow.
