Told the Los Angeles Lakers have fallen out of interest in Dragan Bender. Sounds like No. 2 pick is Brandon Ingram.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

In seriousness, I think it's best to take every rumor leading to the draft with a grain of salt especially with rumors that the Celtics could take Brown or Chriss at number three.

I think they get Simmons via a trade with Philly. Not sure what Philly does, logic says Ingram but a guard isn't impossible.

Sounds about right....Then Ainge calls and makes his offer to Philly.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Especially if the Noel-Teague trade (assuming it's true) falls through.

I bet the Lakers do what they can to trade up to take Simmons, short of offering Russell (offer Clarke?). I think they see him as the next Magic Johnson, the return of Showtime.

Then Philly would hold the pick at 2, and offer to let us take Ingram so long as we give them Rozier plus Hunter.  That way they can take Murray at 3.

If something like that were to occur, I could see Danny going for it, as you could plug Ingram into our line up pretty fast.  That is unless Ainge feels that he likes the long term prospects of Bender better. I doubt that is the case, but it is possible.

Wild speculation, but fun to think about!! I am such a draft junkie!!

It would hurt the value of the pick if some team wanted him in a trade, they are not that dumb.

Agree, unlike delusional fans, stat production and athletic ability matter to NBA scouts hence the drop.

Scouts are still high on Bender, and they may be high on Chriss, but I don't think they'll draft them unless they trade down.
