Hey everyone just refined my draft value chart some more for this year and thought I'd post the current values.
Just remember there are two rules.
1. A team can't trade up more than 5 spots.
(This rule is because no team wants to fall too much simply to pick up more picks.)
2. A team can't combine more than 3 for 1.
(This rule is because most NBA rosters can't support a large number of rookies. It is unlikely for a team to carry more than 3 rookies.)
1= 2500. 2= 1875. 3= 1640
4= 1370. 5= 1140. 6= 950
7= 800. 8= 670. 9=560
10= 480. 11=410. 12=350
13= 295. 14=250. 15=215
16= 185. 17=160. 18=140
19=120. 20=105. 21=90
22= 80. 23=70. 24=60
25= 55. 26= 50. 27= 45
28= 40. 29= 35. 30=30
31= 25. 32= 20. 33=15
34= 10. 35= 7. 36= 6
37= 5. 38= 4.5 39= 3.5
40= 3. 41=2.5. 42= 2
43= 1.8. 44=1.5. 45=1.2
46= 1. 47=1 48= 1
After the first couple of picks in the second round the picks don't really have much value. After 48 a team could just buy a pick or seek help via UDFA so they are not factored in.
