We've already turned around the careers of several players previously considered as "cast-offs".

My question is which "bust" player would you love to see our staff work with that could genuinely add value to our team?

My pick is Anthony Bennett, honestly I think his ceiling is as high as Sully's, which is a Draymond Green type stretch 4, but Bennett is far more athletic than both. If CBS and team can reclaim Bennett's career I think he'd be an automatic Hall of Fame coach.

Is Bennet even available ? I can't see Danny giving up much for him unless its a few 2nd rounders.

Since Anthony Bennett is a UFA I wouldn't mind taking a flier on him.

I can see Bennett pulling mid-range jumpers, ala Brandon Bass. But I'm more concerned about his lack of desire. He is no different than Sully in that regard. At least Sully can rebound the ball with consistency even in bad shape. But a swap with either of Hunter/Young wouldn't hurt. But we have to let one of Sully/KO go for him to have minutes.

The Raptors waived him to make room for Jason Thompson so he's available. Danny could get him without giving up anything other than a roster spot.

I still like Ben mclemore's potential.   He's the kind of player I'd try buying low on.

I think Bennett's true potential was what Draymond Green has become but I think if he's been trade twice and released it's become obvious that his heart and head isn't into improving.

Bennett struggled in D-League and was ultimately displaced by a journeyman in his own hometown, but perhaps he'll make a comeback. He's still in his early 20s, so who knows?

What about Jan Veselý (2011 - 6th)? All-Euroleague First Team this year and still only 26, so probably deserves another shot in the NBA. Good movement for a big man...

Most definitely. Way too early to call him a bust, though.

I've always wanted to see a guy become a HUGE bust in his teens/early 20s, leave the league for a year or two and somehow bounce back to become an all-star in his late 20s. It will happen someday!

Bennett is arguably the worst draft bust in years.  He was selected #1 overall in 2013 and was cut twice, first by Minnesota, and then by Toronto.  He is a former #1 who could be out of the league in just 3 years.

That arguably never happens, even with some pretty awful picks, such as Kwame Brown by Washington in 2001 and Greg Oden drafted by Portland in 2007.

Dragan Bender

One of the biggest busts in NBA history. I think he could be a nice player for us.
