Simmons is the best: The Celtics just took the 7th pick in the draft at no. 3 and used no. 16 on a French guy sitting in the stands. I'm gonna make a drink.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Inwonder if we'll stash him or we'll just let sully walk?

I think we are done with Sully.

I can understand the Brown pick.  He's the most athletic wing in the entire draft.  So that's defensible.

But Yabusele at #16??  Most mocks had him going in round 2.  That's an awful reach.  I'd rather have taken Deyonta Davis who has continued to slide down the board for some reason.  With Brown and Davis, that would have been a really athletic defensive front.

Who is Yabusele??

Yabusele:

Think Sullinger with a better attitude, better outside shot (I love how high it comes over his head - tough to block) but probably not as good of a rebounder.
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

Well, Ainge finally went with an International pick.....who looks like a fat 3pt chucker

hahaha tp.  i laughed out loud when I read that.  god, what a underwhelming draft day for us.  No big trades, no picks that seem very exciting.  I dunno, I know we need to wait a couple of years to pass judgement, but with all the draft picks, the young players we could move it is disappointing.

Sometimes no move is the right move, but we don't have the Nets picks forever, we need to start accomplishing something with the last bits of the KG/PP trade assets.

Spare me jumping on the "reach" angle.  People said that about Rozier last year and then it turns out two teams wanted to draft him right after we took him at 16.  Draft "experts" don't know what teams want to do.

A fat ass chucker from France that you can get in round 2. Danny Ainge is a dipEdited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. drafter.

Potential draft and stash guy and we can kill the talking point that Ainge won't draft Euros.

How fun will it be to hear Tommy saying his name?

We passed up on Skal and Ellenson for this???

Another reason why the Brown pick is horrific.  Now Ainge is reaching for stash players so he can keep trash like Young on the roster.  Skal has upside.  This is beyond worst case scenario, could have had Butler and a big with upside.

Ok I admit this one hurts. I was ready for Brown and I'll give him a chance. But this eurotard? Seems like a HUGE reach.  :-\

This guy was rising I knew, but Ainge must of thought someone else. Would have taken effort. 23. A surprise.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
