I can't say I'm familiar with him but like the early look.  There is no one we passed on to be so worried about at all.  Past the first like 10 picks in this draft it could be anyone.  The talent is flat.

Well he is still young, 20, and shot 40+% on threes.  He looks like he has an NBA body.  Somewhere, probably San Antonio, some GM is p---ed.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
People in France say he is the next Draymond Green

Not really sold, but optimistic when I heard 44% 3PT shooter. I think it's a massive reach, but not really mad about the pick because of the shooting capability, athleticism and the massive body he likes to throw around.

The good news: by picking Yabu at 16, we left more good players on the board for 23.

My god that kid is built. He looks like a tank at 6'8. I've never seen someone with that build who shot over 40% from deep. If that kid can atleast recognize a proper pass, he will make the bench for the team.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Inwonder if we'll stash him or we'll just let sully walk?
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I don't see it. Reminds me of Seraphin.SULLY
only upside to this pick is that all the good players continue to slide down one spot   :-\

Haha - TP. I was thinking the same thing. I guess he is the first of many draft and stash guys. If Danny can't make an impact trade, he will have failed on the night.
