Fireworks!!!!

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Wyc sounds a bit desperate here:

Quote from: Adam Kaufman
Wyc Grousbeck: "We did not SNIFF a trade today. It was a collection of rip-off attempts, and we laughed at them." #Celtics owner heated.

Quote from: Scott Souza
#Celtics Wyc Grousbeck on boos when pick was announced: That was probably worst reaction in 14 years. But they don't know what I know.

Like I said...he cares more about defending Ainge than the Celtics winning. If Brown does nothing and other players drafted later become stars, Wyc won't say a word.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Looks like Suns have officially moved away from a team full of guards over the past few years...I commend them on pulling off Bender and Chriss.....Could we not of beat that trade for that spot?

Sounds like Wyc is being pretty arrogant complaining about the reaction..We dont know what they know...I know what I saw when our pick we took at 3 played against competition in college and I am not impressed enough to use them at 3 when we could have taken him between 6-9...maybe even later....Prove me wrong..Please....I would love nothing more than to eat crow with this pick...

Wow, I don't like Poeltl as a fit in Toronto.  Labasierre or Ellison was my guess
I'm bitter.

Bucks are a mess.  All forwards, SF at PG, no real PG, now Thon at 10.

I absolutely loved this pick, I always wanted an athletic wing. Whether you like him or not, we gotta trust Ainge. Who knows, as much as I like him, maybe Ainge is still working on pulling off a big trade.
I think Jaylen Brown is Danny's pick. I dont think he picked up Brown to trade him. I think it got to the point where people were trying to rip off the Celfics so they just drafted their guy. Brown is here to stay

I agree I think they are hell bent on betting he is the next greatest Celtic

OMG .......DA picked Fab Melo too. ....
only two players in this draft were seen as having star potential (Simmons and Ingram).  Ainge probably just feels brown has some potential and will fit in defensively off the bench.

I just think if the rumors were true .......Noel has to be more valuable than Brown .

at this point, I just want to see Sabonis at 15 and witness the triboy meltdown  :P
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Well, can't get triboy's favorite at 16
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about
