Woj is not tweeting this ****

They already reported Simmons and Ingram well before the draft.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

And ESPN sources say that Boston has been holding out all day for a better offer; Chicago's Jimmy Butler has been HIGH on the Celts' list

I wish he'd been high on their list in 2011.  Ugh.

ha. no Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline..

Butler is probably our first choice.  Okafor is plan b.  Plan c is to take Dunn and try trading the guard log jam ... With lots and lots of other options being considered.

It's Noel. Okafor isn't an option anymore, apparently.
thats wise of Philly to hang onto him. They shouldnt sell low on that guy.

It wasn't Phili's decision to decide that Okafor was off the table, it was Boston's.

Honestly the value some thought Okafor and Noel had couldn't be more off. Noel or Okafor, plus two first round picks and another low end prospect

We do not need two picks in the 20s.  Noel is not enough.

Take the 2 picks from Philly and Get MONROE!!

ESPN sources say Philadelphia is offering Nerlens Noel, No. 24 and No. 26 in tonight's draft and Robert Covington for Boston's No. 3 pick

Not too bad .......we can snag Maker

That is terrible.

Stein just affirmed that it's Noel, 24, 26, and Covington from Philly.

Somewhere Larbrd's head just exploded.
So Noel and filler for #3?

I've loved Noel for a long time.  That'd be pretty awesome, but his contract is up soon and some of you told me all year he was garbage.  Lol.  It would be a win for Boston and a win for hinkie.

Agreed. This trade makes no sense from the Celtics standpoint. Noel would be nice. Covington comes off the bench. But there's no possible way the Cs can use NINE picks tonight, especially when the above trade takes up two more roster spots.
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

I'm on a stream so it's behind - DraftExpress shows Ingram at #2 and Cleveland at #3.  What happened?

pssst, just let him, the shock could be too much for him
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.
