And yet ANOTHER example of NBA officiating incompetence.

Steve Kerr and the rest of the Warriors should complain like a MFer in the post-game conference. Maybe the league will hear them like they heard Lebron.

And that's another BS foul on Green on Lebron. Good effing grief.

It's really embarrassing 2 watch. Nba wants their game 7.

Really didn't see the Warriors winning tonight anyways. They'll need the help from their home crowd.

Unless Lebron and Kyrie both go off again in Golden State, I think they take it at home on Sunday night.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
A lot of people in this thread whining about the refs. I think they're doing an excellent job and have let both sides off. A physical game helps the Cavs but it hasn't been one sided at all.
If anyone claims that this is a one sided game (officiating wise) it's because you either:

1) Hate Lebron
2) Love GSW and really want them to win
3) both of the above.

Please be reasonable.

Why are you generalizing?

No generalizing in my statement, it's the truth.
Any open minded viewer understands this is a physical game, but a it's being called both ways.

The thing is that 3 of the fouls on Curry were really slight, if no contact at all.  And that's not how he rest of the game has been called.  At all.

I don't agree. In the moment during the game, it clearly looked like a reach on Irving- there was plenty of contact to make that call in the heat of the moment.

The foul on Lebron he first grabbed his arm, then ran in front of him and initiated contact with the offensive player who has right of way. I reffed for 4 years and they're pretty simple calls to make. The first one was, so so- but as I said to Potter, they've let them go when Irving should have gotten multiple calls.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

He snitched his way to a game 7.

Draymond should've kept his cool. Series would be over if he had.

Warriors have nobody to blame but themselves.  Lebron has been awesome, but the Warriors haven't brought their best to any of the games in Cleveland, and they didn't even really show up in a Game 5 at home.

Well on their way to the greatest playoff collapse of all time.  Lebron is writing his masterpiece.  The Warriors could be an embarrassing footnote in history.

Honestly it wouldn't really even bother me if GS lost this series now. They aren't some all time great team regardless. Maybe of the past 10-15 years that's about it. They have played so desperate the past two series jacking up 3's it's gotten annoying.

Will this be remembered as a good series?

According to Twitter it's the first time a Finals series lasting at least six games has had six games decided by double digits.

If the Warriors blow game 7 on Sunday I think I'm done with them.  Horrific collapse.

Curry grabbed Lebron's arm. How can you not see that? He then moved in front of Lebron causing contact.
I can't see the problem with the foul being called there....

Irving has been belted multiple times driving to the hole.

If they'd consistently call that, I'm fine with it. But if you're sitting there telling me that Kyrie, Lebron, Smith, and Jefferson aren't initiating just as much contact on every single possession trying to guard Klay and Steph, then you're crazy. My problem is the inconsistency. As Saltlover said, Curry's fouls were pretty light, and they've been that way this whole series when they weren't like that at all in the previous three series.

If they consistently called a foul on that much contact, then every player would foul out every game this series. It's inconsistent every trip down the floor. Kyrie got plowed by Green on a layup attempt with no call one time, yet Curry gets called for two reaches that barely contain any contact at all. It's ridiculous the inconsistency BOTH WAYS in the officiating.

This second half has been all about Lebron.  Gotta give credit where credit's due, he's been insane.  Looks like the Warriors dug themselves too deep of a hole back in the 1st, which is crazy to even conceive about this Golden State team, but their defense (especially without Bogut now) isn't quite good enough now it seems to be able to handle it.

Harrison Barnes going into a Jae Crowder/Marcus Smart-like shooting slump at just about the worst time isn't helping either.  The Cavs game plan going into this game was to make Barnes beat them, and he couldn't make them pay.  Draymond Green was invisible for the most part tonight too.

I still think the Warriors win game 7, but I'm not nearly as confident as I was a week ago.  The Cavs have a lot of confidence right now.  They've, at least in one game, exploited the Bogut absence very well.  Now, add in Iguodala with his sudden back issue.  What I thought was completely implausible is now entire possible in my eyes.  Maybe not probable, but certainly not impossible for the Cavs to win game 7.

Games like this make me wish I didn't detest LeBron.  I can't stand to even watch when he's playing this well.  So obnoxious.

TP - my thoughts exactly. I just want this series over, either way, at this point. But if it's the Cavs, I won't be finishing the game / watching the championship celebration.

I think the greatest ever is definitely out the window but if they win game seven they're still in the conversation for a top five to ten team all time.

Where would their playoff record be compared to those teams? That should mean more than a regular season record.

I really do wish I could like Lebron.  He's a great player.  Something about watching him when he's playing well just rubs me the wrong way.  Maybe it's just hard wired at this point.  I'm not trying to hate on him.  He has taken over the last two games.  He's a force of nature.  Though I still think Curry at full strength is more valuable at this point in their careers.

Cleveland was the first team since 1966 to force a Game 7 being down 3-1.

That's a typical Scott Foster game for you.  Get one team angry because they have no idea what a foul is.
