One thing, when people say that they need to put their defenders in, okay then what? People say that as if GSW isn't a better team than they were last season. It's as if what worked then will simply work again without looking to see if GSW is better than what worked against them last season. Hell, they already proved they were better than that strategy LAST SEASON, what are they going to do, get worse than what they were last season?

EVERYONE said (yea, me 2) that we needed to see a full strength Cavs, you finally had that. Now everyone wants them to go back to their post-injuries lineup? Hahaha come on now.

Gotta try something different. Yes regardless, the Cavs defense isn't as good as last season.

So are Irving and Love overrated ......or has Bron fell off ....since last year .

Kyrie is a 23 year old who went from being the best player on a horrible team to second best on a title contender and has no idea what to do when he's not dominating the ball and scoring.  I still haven't given up on Love but we've seen for two years that he can't fit as a third wheel.  And LeBron has clearly lost his physical edge.

Mike

Love not a 3rd wheel? We saw that he isn't a 1st wheel either, sure he had the stats but it didn't get the team to do anything. Now if he isn't a 1st or 3rd wheel then what is he other than overrated? Hell, AB can be a 4th wheel, we aren't going to pay him Love type money, so what do you call it?

My point is that they tried that already so they wouldn't be trying something different. They beat that version of the Cavs last season. The different thing was what they had out there the 1st 2 games this series and it hasn't worked. What do they have left to try that the Warriors haven't already faced?

Also, they struggled against OKCs bigger lineup but they eventually figured that out too. What can the Cavs do differently than what GSW has proven they can beat already?

I thought Cavs would win this series because I thought GSW were going to be dead tired and the Cavs breezed through the east, I am totally wrong so far.

Cavs desperately needed Kyrie in this series - he's 12 for 35 with 4 assists. Yikes.

See, I thought the same thing in 2012 when the Heat beat the Celtics in the conference finals. I thought the Celtics had worn down Lebron and his superfriends and because of that, the Heat were going to struggle against the young and energetic Thunder.  However, what the Celtics really had done was push the Heat to another level. They dared them to play to their absolute potential and the Heat did just that. I think this year the Thunder pushed the Warriors to that same extra gear to beat them and because the Dubs are now at that maximum gear, they are handling the Cavs the same way the Heat handled the Thunder in 2012.

I think the 2016 Cavaliers are in for the same fate as the 2012 Thunder, if not worse.

Irving's the third-best player on the Cavs.

But he plays like he's the second best player.

I'm comparing him to Bosh in Miami.  He completely accepted that he was going to have to live on whatever scraps were left after LeBron and Wade did what they wanted, and Bosh found a way to still be productive.  It helped that Bosh could play defense.

Love can't accept or be effective in the same role.  He needs to be in the same situation as Nowitski, the #1 option on a team designed to cover up for his weaknesses.

I can't explain what's going on with the Cavs.
All I know is that seeing Lebron struggle with his super team makes me happy.

Cavs look so overmatched.
They will "re-up" this summer, no doubt.
I feel they will go all in for Chris Paul after this season. Kyrie for CP. Makes sense for all the parties.
That would still make them short of a wing defender and a big that is good on both defense and offense.
I am more and more of the opinion that Lebron's window is shorter than many (myself included) presumed and it will make them desperate to go all-in.
Cavs know that if they don't win the ring with Lebron, they will never win it.

Idk about this trade as Kyrie is younger than Paul
So with Paul their title window would be much shorter but with a better chance (not sure how much better considering few PG can match curry)

They definitely need to do something to get better
Whether it's their supporting cast by adding vets with playoff exp
Or possibly moving love for a PF that can play D and be better off the ball

Hey Lebron "Karma is a b****, right?"

LBJ has always been a great player but he has always lacked leadership and struggled with pressure of carrying a team.  He is the greatest player on the planet when things are going well for him.  When it is not, he sometimes quits.
