If this report is true, would love to pursue Noah in FA. Although he is injury prone, he is solid when he gets playing time.

I would be ok with a low value short term "Prove it" contract.

Or an Amir Johnson contract if no true star signs with the cap space.

Not surprised.

The writing has been on the wall for a while with Noah and his relationship with the front office.  Not to mention the reports of heavy tension between him & Butler.

Danny Ainge may be a snake, but you can trust him to be a snake. Come on down to Boston!

Not playing with a big like Pau should help him get back to form, I'd love to sign him to an Amir-type contract
I'm bitter.

Makes sense.

Noah should join a team where he can play an Andrew Bogut kind of role.

A team that only needs him to rebound, defend, keep the ball moving, and finish open layups.

What kind of offers does Noah command on the open market? 4 years, $60 mil?

He's 31, so this could conceivably be his last contract. Unless he wants to go short and hope for one more after that?

Minnesota is a calling at 12:01 am for sure.

Which increases chance Jimmy stays?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Yes, I believe so.  Most of the rumors about the Bulls' infighting has been that Noah is the leader of the "vets" while Butler is the new face of the team.  Noah essentially tried to big dog Butler and Butler didn't appreciate it.  They started bickering a lot and Butler was especially unhappy with the situation.  I'm guessing that the front office went in to protect their star - Butler - and now Noah feels slighted.

Wonder how healthy he is?

Excellent option at the right price.

When you consider Amir J got 12mill and the cap is going up....3 years at 16.5 per or 4 at 15 might make some sense.  Finishes up at 35 or 36. We're a defensive team anyway and he brings intensity. I always disliked him in a way I knew I'd like him if he were here.

Gotta give him a major physical though.

But I admit ....and I hate to admit it....if you can get Biyombo at half the price (you can't) then you .....probably....do that

Perhaps we could convince both him and Horford to sign short term deals to try and cash in next summer. Joining the old Florida Gator teammates together would be pretty formidable next year. Noah should go for it after doing some damage to his value last year, though Horford is probably looking for a long-term deal.

Yes, I want him. He fits what we need at the 5. He'd also be a great mentor for Dragan and fit well with him.
