Draftexpress weakness scouting video below.    We are not only talking about lack of strength problems here.     Has no post game to speak of.    Lacks explosiveness.   takes a while before shooting the ball  (if you think Jerebko is slow..).    Jack of all trades type on both ends.   Lacks a reliable shooting touch.    Imo does not look has reliable in a half court game (critical in the 4th quarter)

again yes lack of strength is a key issue.  But this guy is not some super "skilled" player many here think he is.  He is no dirk , thats for sure.

Even if this clip below does not "sway" your overall thinking about bender, just be aware

Yet another Triboy attempt to push his anti-Bender propaganda.

Did we really need another thread for this, with all the countless posts you have made in the last few weeks on this same topic?

We have something like 5 threads on this already.

Seriously, wow. The kid is relentless. The funny thing is he's posting a draft express weaknesses video, which we've all seen.

Bender doesn't look as athletic in some other videos. Did not look impressive (athletically on defense) in that u-18s video that was posted in the other thread.

What about his strengths?

that he can make the three once in a while??  So can Jerebko.  That he can handle the ball? (yet can't get all the way to the basket alot of times).    That he can defend? (yet gets pushed around, even by players half his height)

He doesn't do one thing well.  Basically he is 7 ft player, has length (no explosion) and can do some thing a SF can. But not one thing exceptional a good SF is able to do.   Lacks natural strength.   How certain are we, he can add 20-30 pounds?

lol

It can't be that others have seen the same evidence and reached a different conclusion. It has to be that you know something that no one else does.

That's the issue... No way to know how his d will translate to the NBA. I'm curious to see how he does in workouts.

Triboy, do you realize you add nothing to the discussion? Why don't you at least until Bender starts working out for teams and some new feedback becomes available. Right now you're just howling at the moon with the same silly rhetoric you've used for weeks. You're single handily making Bender and Sabonis youtube videos go viral.

Wasn't Bender 16 in that u18 clip? There's a huge difference between 16-year-old athleticism and 18/19-year-old athleticism.

Yep, 16.

If he bulks up he has the potential to guard 3 positions. That's huge... But it's also risky to project how his skills with translate to NBA competition
