Contract year for Rose if Danny could get him cheap. Could we use him? Would anybody on this board want him? They are talking on radio stations in Chicago how the Bulls need to move on from him. I would she a flyer on him on the cheap.

Depends on what Chicago want in return and what role Rose is willing to play. He didn't like sharing the ball with Butler so i am doubtful he would accept a bench role to I.T, i'd say a team like Brooklyn would want him more than us.

Pass. He's not an explosive scorer anymore nor he is a consistent shooter. Not to mention, he is a poor defender.

I'd rather inquire about guys like Butler, Noah or Gibson.

I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that in Chicago he was a superstar before. He was from the area and a lot of players were still behind him, pressuring him to be the man.

I figure we could have him for free, but there is no reason to want him. I certainly wouldnt touch him till the offseason plays out. Then maybe if we need another ballhandler.

The Bulls need to move on from Rose because he hurts the team when on the floor.

He's still in the top half of NBA starting point guards.  The media loves to crush this guy but when you watch him he's still got the ball on a string.  He'd be a crazy good sixth man, but don't think he'd accept that role.

Still leaves other areas to cover. DA may take a guard in the draft, doubt he would look to get another while we have other needs. The NBA works in mysterious ways though.

So close to the top of starting point guards that he should be a 6th man!   Sounds about right.

Rose is so bad that I might prefer Michael Carter-Williams.

Please don't tell me you're serious.

1) He's arguably the most injury prone player in the entire NBA

2) He's surrounded by negative energy in practically everything he does

3) It's been cited recently that Rose's lack of work ethic is one of the biggest reasons why Butler isn't happy in Chicago

Why in god's name would you want to take on all that mess???

I would probably rather bring Leandro Barbosa back here on a max contract then even contemplate touching the disaster that is Derek Rose.

Rose is injury prone, mediocre perimeter shooter, less explosive than before and Boston has a glut of guards.
