If Philly takes Simmons #1, which is very possible even though many places say they'll take Ingram due to their many front court pieces, maybe the Cs can pick up Saric in addition to Okafor (who I personally don't like) for the 3rd pick and other pieces? Or is this just crazy talk?  :P😛

Philly is committed to Embid and Saric, said so on lottery night.  Better chance of getting Okafor.

I say we offer them this years #3 and next years top 5 along with Avery Bradley and Marcus Smart for Okafor and #1 pick.

That would be awesome, but Philly says- Hell, no!

Trade Okafor for #2 (Lakers).

Lakers get a center they need to pair with a young Randle and Russel.

Philly gets a core of Ingram, Simmons, Embiid with Saric and Noel off the bench.

The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

How has Saric been doing in Europe?

I see no reason why Philly would keep Saric if they draft Ben Simmons. Saric should be get-able if Ainge wants him. Saric will cost a fair bit. Pricey but available.

Is Saric worth the price-tag?

not inconceivable but that would be a scary core for Philly in a few years --> provided the players don't become disgusted with the team culture and jumpship as soon as they can for free agency.

eagerly anticipating what Noel does this coming season --> force QO signing for the following year to hit free agency or sign an extension to see how/if that team gels.
