Pretty nice for BB fans to put that group together.

But would LA want Simmons? I don't think a Randle/Simmons paring works at all, and LA has strong young guards who want the ball. They will want Ingram, or they will need to move someone.

I'm sure Dunn doesn't want to get caught up in the log jam here with guards.  PHX has the same issue.

The Lakers are smart enough to know Randle is not worth deciding anything on.  He's really not that good.  Simmons is vastly more promising.

I can see why Dunn wouldnt want here. We already have a logjam in the backcourt and he wont have much playing time here.

This makes sense. Obviously if you're Simmons you want LA over Philly. I actually think he's a worse fit in Philly, where he'd have to start at SF alongside two centers (and two scrubs in the backcourt... lol).

It's interesting that Wojo at the end singled out BOS and PHX as teams that other teams would target to trade with to get Dunn and Bender. i suspect those two will go 3-4 one way or the other. SAC has to be thinking about Dunn with Rondo likely gone.

DEN has lottery picks 5 and 13 and loves Euros. Don't think that's enough for 3 and 16, but maybe something like 3, 23, and 31 for 5 and 13 to go with our 16.

But their owner says the Hinkie Plan to suck until MJ or LBJ falls in their laps is over, Have to think they know they have to get a real PG there.

Minnesota has pick #5 and Phoenix has #13.

It's MIN that has the 5th pick. DEN has the 7th pick, and the 15th.

They do seem like potential trade partners. I think Ainge will receive a lot of interest in the #3.

Been a very long week. DEN at 7, 15, 19 for our 3 and 23? Seems like something could work.

We end up with 7, 15, 16, 19. There will be teams looking to get into this year's draft that you could flip one or more of those mid-first picks into next year's stronger draft, At least one of Hield, Murray, or Ellenson would be available at 7.

If the Wolves are interested in Dunn and the Suns want Bender, do we trade pick 3 for 5 and a player like Dieng then take either Murray or Hield there? May as well if we'd take either at 3 anyway.

On a side note, Woj saying a lot of teams wanting to move up to top 3 makes me happy that we at least got that and didn't get 5 or something... lets a scenario like the one I listed above happen

I was certainly encouraged by Woj's comment myself. It's one thing to be looking to make a trade down and another for a trade up to be looking for you. A seller's market > a buyer's market.

I would do that. Also I have no interest in Dunn, the last thing we need is another guard who can't shoot.

Wow. We have 8 picks so we trade for more?

We would not do that. We would save the 3 because it is more likely to attract someone willing to trade something valuable.
